Delaware Experiences Warm Temperatures and Variable Rainfall During July 2013

The statewide average temperature for Delaware for July 2013 was 2.4°F warmer than normal July temperatures, based on the 1981-2010 Climate Normals published by NOAA's NCDC. Meanwhile, the statewide precipitation averaged 5.53", which is 1.20" above normal rainfall for the month of July.

Record Rainfall and Warm Temperatures Across Delaware in June 2013

Delaware's statewide average temperature was 1.6°F warmer than the 1981-2010 normal making June 2013 the 4th straight June with above normal temperature. Meanwhile, June precipitation set a new statewide rainfall record for Delaware.
