Record rainfall and warmer than normal conditions characterized Delaware’s Climate during June 2013.

Above normal temperatures and below normal rainfall characterized Delaware’s Climate in May 2013.

Temperatures that were slightly above normal and precipitation a bit below normal characterized Delaware’s Climate in April 2013.

Below normal temperatures and drier than normal conditions characterized Delaware’s Climate in March 2013. Spatially, March temperatures across Delaware were significantly below normal across southern and coastal Sussex County and across central portions of Kent County. Northern portions of Delaware and Chester County, PA had more modest negative temperature departures.

Slightly above normal temperatures and slightly wetter than normal conditions characterized Delaware’s Climate in February.

Following the overall pattern of 2012, the new-year began with above normal temperatures and below normal precipitation across Delaware.
